(a) Animation 3a corresponds to Fig. 2a of Friedman+2013 for the case in which events A and B appear with angular separation α = 150 degrees as seen from Earth (as opposed to 180 degrees in Animation 2), where the event redshifts zA and zB are changed to maintain the condition that their past light cones intersect at the big bang (τAB=0).

(b) Animation 3b shows the view in the τ=0 plane at the big bang for the same case from Animation 3a.
